Softaculous - Uninstalling a script

Softaculous can uninstall scripts you installed through it.

  1. Login to cPanel and click "Softaculous".

    Click Softaculous

  2. In the top-right corner of the screen click the "All Installations" icon denoted by the wooden crate

    Click All Installations

  3. Click the "Remove" icon denoted by the red x next to the installation you want to remove. In this example we are removing Drupal.

    Click Remove

  4. You will be presented with some uninstallation options, by default all the options are ticked to totally remove all traces of the software. Untick the options to keep a particular aspect, for example unticking the "Remove Database" option will keep the data but still remove the software. Confirm the uninstallation by clicking "Remove Installation".

    Click Remove Installation

  5. And you are done! Drupal has been uninstalled, uninstalling other scripts is a very similar process and just as easy.
