Changing passwords

Your Valcato Account and cPanel have different passwords, this means you can give someone access to help with your website without also giving them access to your sensitive billing information. This does means there are two different places to change your passwords:

Valcato Account
  • Click "My Details" above,
  • Click "Change Password",
  • Enter your new password,
  • Click "Save Changes".
cPanel
  • Click "Home" above,
  • In the yellow "Your Active Products/Services" box, click on your hosting account
  • Click "Change cPanel Password" in the Actions left-hand sidebar,
  • Enter your new password and confirm it, before clicking "Save Changes".
