Certificate Renewal

One of the integral parts of a certificate is its set expiration date which cannot be changed. This means that, unlike a domain name or hosting account that can be renewed and extended, an SSL certificate will expire showing security errors to your visitors and deterring potential business. Obviously this presents a problem if you want to continue securing your data, so it is important that you order and install a new certificate before the current one expires.

2. Visit our website and order a new certificate: http://www.valcatohosting.com/ssl,
3. Follow the same procedure as before to configure and install the certificate.

We recommend the new certificate is in place a few days before the expiry of the current one; an overlap is better than a security error for your customers.
